(More customer reviews)Ok the 250 (generic) or any other generic HDD works great...BUT it WILL NOT PLAY ORIGINAL XBOX TITLES. But there is a fix. Go to link [...] or google xbox-scene.com and look up the thread "Xbox games dont work selfmade HDD problem" and follow the instructions. I had to do some serious digging to find this out. You will need a transfer cable to hook up to your computer in order to restore partition 2. The program used is "Xplorer360 Extreme2" you must run the program as computer administrator. The Generic HDD's are missing a working partition 2 file which is basically the original XBOX emulator and will not work until you do this. Otherwise this hard drive will only play 360 titles. Its a pretty easy fix but it still sucks you have to bother doing all this. it was hard for me to find the proper info to fix the problem so I hope my review here will at least help people that buy this HDD fix the problem a little easier.
