Mostly play the "popular" games like Halo 3 (all of them), Gears of War (1&2) CoD games, condemned (1&2), Ninja Gaiden 2, etc And honestly this game is the most fun I have had on my 360!!! Some games have a better story like BIoSHOCK, and most have prettier graphics BUt no other game delivers hundreds of screaming innocent people while monsters are running around after them while the military is shooting them down while you are fighting some 20 or so bad guys!!!
Some people claim it has no story but you have over a hundred little 10 second videos you obtain along the way that give you clues about whats going on. They are important if you really want to know the story.
Some other people complain about the lack of variety. You get different powers, high jack helicopters and tanks, you can throw around cars like friesbies!! Plus you have alot side missions that really mix it up and actually add hours of fun.
The game isnt perfect but the little problems it has are easily overlooked. If you like SLOW paced games and enjoying scenery this is probably not for you. I bought it because I wanted a game where I could just get on a kill stuff for an hour straight and this pretty much fit the bill. Took me about 17 hrs to finish and I only did like half the side missions
