(More customer reviews)Product arrived promptly with no missing pieces. Screw driver was handy in taking the Xbox apart and the interchangeable heads were easy to use. I found the Xbox 360 opening tool to be pretty useless. I just used the included screwdriver and the Xbox opened relatively easily. The "3RedLightFix" web site and instructions weren't too useful even though I would definitely recommend reading through them. I found videos on YouTube to be most helpful with taking the unit apart. I also reviewed the Arctic Silver web site and YouTube for instructions on how to apply the Arctic Silver. I've read different people say they can do the whole taking apart, repair, and reassembly in less than an hour. I had not taken an Xbox apart before and I was very deliberate in my disassembly an reassembling of the Xbox and it took me between 2-3 hours total.
Now, what everyone wants to know, did it work? Well, yes, for about 8 hours of use over a week and a half. Then the unit began to have the same distorted image problem it had before I got the RROD the first time. I haven't cut it back on since. I plan to take it apart again and try the repair one more time.
I'll try to follow up with an update once this is done, but for now I would give this product a 2 out of 5 stars.
