(More customer reviews)Got this game for my 5 and 9 year old sons who love Shrek and enjoyed the movie. The game is loosely based on the movie where Shrek is tricked into signing a contract to become an ogre for a day. When he realizes that he's been tricked he sets out with his trusted friends to get it back from Rumpelstiltskin. The game can be played with up to 4 persons and you'll play as either, Shrek, Donkey, Puss or Fiona. If you're into achievements though then you'll have to be signed in as the primary player as only the primary player gets the achievements. The game is pretty easy and fun for younger kids since you only really use two buttons throughout, A to fight and B for their special moves. You occasionally use the X button when you pick up power-ups but they aren't necessary. You'll be fighting witches, trees and the usual bad guys found in the movie.
You may have to help out the younger ones with a few of the puzzles, like the ones in Dragon Keep, the Catacombs and Rumpelstiltskin's Castle. The main bad guys, Fairy Godmother, Pied Piper and Rumple are actually pretty easy to beat and the kids enjoyed beating them on their own. The music while fighting the bad guys are also catchy and you might remember a few of them from Shrek 2 the movie. The voice overs are also pretty good and some of the sayings will make you laugh.
I give this game an A for family fun. It's finally good to have a game where the entire family can play.

Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Puss In Boots are back in Shrek Forever After, the final chapter in the Shrek story. Shrek longs for the days when he was a "real ogre" and not the family man he is today. Making a deal with the slick-talking Rumplestiltskin, Shrek is transported to an alternate world where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is King and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Fight to save your friends, the land of Far, Far Away from the mischievous miscreant, Rumplestiltskin and reclaim your one true love.
