I'm glad this was included because the guy I used to fix my first RROD forgot to put them back on. I never did any repairs like this before, but it was a breeze thanks to the online manual. The only thing other than this kit you will need is a heat gun. The manual suggests a hair dryer, but that is not going to do it. You need more heat to re-flow the motherboard. This is the crucial step when fixing RROD. The whole process took me about an hour and a half and so far it looks good to go.
