(More customer reviews)I first bought a racing wheel for Gran Tourismo 4 on the PS2 but was quickly disappointed when I attached it to the coffee table and I couldn't get my legs under the table to work the pedals and my back hurt from hunching over.
For Forza Motorsports 3 I decided to buy this wheel stand and so far I am very happy with it. I bought it with the xbox wheel adapter, and while I was unsure when I was assembling it whether it would be sturdy enough against the force feedback of the wheel, all my fears were quickly allayed. The kit also came with two small screws to fasten the pedals onto the pan at the bottom, making the whole setup one peice of equipment. This is great because when I'm done racing , I fold up the pedal pan and put the stand, wheel, pedals and all in the closet upright and out of the way and all I have to unplug is the power cord. The stem of the main tube (right behind the wheel) has 3 length settings and the pedal pan has 3 height settings. I am 6'2" and this stand fits me. I am pretty thin, so the width of the lap bars is fine for me (18") but, as I have a long torso, I do wish the height of the lap bars were higher or adjustable on the normal stand (i believe they are on the big boy) as it is only 8". But overall it is a sturdy, well-made piece of equipment and it definitely completes the racing experience.
