(More customer reviews)So this is my first gaming headset that I've ever owned, now I've never used any other type of head set for playing video games or for anything for that matter, but this one is actually pretty good (or at least that's my opinion) for the price tag. I originally planned to get the bundle with the negotiator but for some reason I changed it and now I'm starting to think that, that wasn't such a good idea
the little mic the head phones have looks like it would work really well, it pulls out and reaches all the way to my mouth and it seems like I wouldn't have to talk as loud while playing.
The headset itself is very light weight but doesn't feel cheap, and the ear covers are very soft and keep my ears warm while playing :)
Sound cancellation isn't as great as some noise canceling headsets I tried on at a best buy, but it's decent, while playing a game, you won't hear a thing other than the game of course
When I used for the first time, them I played black ops, because it was the game I was playing at the time. but during an online match, I did really well while wearing them, I could hear peoples foots steps more easily then with my surround sound on loud or wearing my cheap ear buds and got so many kills.
One bad thing that I noticed is that its bass is very low, or dim, or I don't know how to explain it but I tested a song on my mp3 player and for the most part, music sounds nice, but not the best it can be. But overall it is a great headset to own to play games or listen to music on the street
