The packaging was very high quality, what they added to the collector's edition was well worth the additional money. Over all the game is fun, easy to pick up, and engaging. It's well worth the investment. The only think I would caution about is to make sure you got everything in the box that was supposed to be included. The collector's edition is supposed to come with a buddy key inside the packaging and mine did not. Not critical, but it is disappointing when you'd like to get one of your friends involved. Apparently this is not an uncommon issue with purchases from Amazon if the Sony Online Forums are to be believed.
