(More customer reviews)If you've ever played a game by RARE (the guys who made the Donkey Kong Country and Banjo-Kazooie games), you'll know what to expect when you play Grabbed by the Ghoulies. A fun game that everybody in the family can have a good time playing.
I expected the the game to be visually stunning (and it is) and the game play to be fun (again, it is), but I didn't expect myself to spend so much time on a "kiddie" game.
Don't get fooled. This isn't a game that's easy per se. The different challenges will actually get that adreneline running and you'll be leaning forward in your seat. This is the kind of game that you can play with your kids or let them play alone when you've got chores to finish up.
Some of my favorite moments are when you get to use the wacky selection of weapons (chairs, water guns, hamburgers, pictures, brooms, etc). When you're surrounded by a bunch of ghoulies -- skeletons, ninja imps, mummies, zombies, vampire chickens -- and have to use your joystick to beat em up.
The characters are really funny and there's a lot of cool features that make this game a great gift for your kids or for yourself. Be sure to grab a copy of Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
