I am not a big console fan.
You PC gamers know the deal, unknown developer releases unknown game that is supported by PC market. Unknown Developer becomes bigger and bigger and starts to market games for console.
Unknown Developer starts to focus more on marketing than on development and starts to pump out linear titles as fast as they can to support their now LARGE company. PC community gets ignored and slowly gets poor ports of the console versions of the game.
So the gaming trend is for Consoles. The good news is eventually they will become PCs and some of the current consoles do have some gems, so what to do, if you want to play one of those gems? Wait for poor port or conform and become cannon fodder trying to work the controllers.
Enter this device. It allows you to use keyboard and mouse and it WORKS. I usually dominate on FPS PC games. With the console controller I was bottom of the list. Within 3 days of having this I was at the top of my game again.
Setup: Hardware install is VERY easy (pre built one) (USB)
Software Intall: Little tricky - it installs fine BUT driver issues with Windows 7 trying to UPDATE the driver which leads to the software hanging on the install. If you cancel Windows 7 from trying to UPDATE the driver - it works.
Configuration - takes a little bit to work out. Setting up the Bind is very easy, but it is the sensitivity that is involved - check out the forum for help.
(hopefully - I'll get to a video review of this - need to study for a big test for work and focused on that right now)
In Game: just some simple steps to get it running and then you are very close to PC like controls.
Buying it might be tricky - again check forums on locations to buy it.
