The older I get, the more I appreciate what are called "casual games" - simple objectives, like Tetris are more my speed. I grew up playing Asteroids, Centipede, Root Beer Tapper & Frogger... in many ways, this game is a combination of all of those. The main character of the game tells her boss to shove it (in a nice way, of course) and starts her own restaurant. She has a variety of customers... college kids, senior citizens, business men & women - and all have different levels of patience, tipping and fuses.
As the main character, you must make sure you break even at the end of the day, or you could lose the restaurant. A really good haul can mean the difference in new decorations, a remodel or even a new building.
The fish and chips restaurant segues into an Indian fare as you advance, and the main character attains special 'powers' as she morphs a la Vishnu into a Hindu goddess. A tad new-agey, but still fairly tame. I have spent hours playing this clever, well rendered, challenging game. It's a good way to escape w/o blowing things up or shooting at something on a screen.
