(More customer reviews)Borderlands was surprisingly good. When I saw there was DLC for a zombie island, I was pretty psyched. The game's humor carries over into this almost Halloween-themed, zombie infested island. First, the bad stuff; the missions seem like they have you go from point A to B to A to C to B to C to A to... all over the place. One thing that could be seen as good or bad is the number of undead you encounter. After playing Left 4 Dead, I never thought there could be such a thing as too many zombies. This game kind of changes that. Entering into a new area, you'll spend about 5-10 minutes picking off the walking dead before you carry on in a mission. The good thing about this DLC is that it's a good, creepy atmosphere. All the bandits and psychos you see in the original game are carried over as zombies. There are even Midget Zombies, which make me laugh every time I see them...
Overall, I really do like this DLC. It's a dark, creepy environment chalked full of zombies, that sometimes slow down a mission. I would recommend this, not so much for the additional story, but for the zombie killing.
