(More customer reviews)I have had quite a handful of CD's, DVD's and games scratched by my own mishandling or by friends who also had their share of "accidents". Some scratches were mild and others looked beyond repair. For the vast majority, this thick paste-like DISC SKIP FIXER works miracles when the directions are followed. I even used paper towels with this and had near perfect luck. Sometimes I have had discs that were really messed up....I mean....REALLY BAD. For these I discovered an equally fixable solution. I use regular basic toothpaste on these REALLY BAD ones, (using the same suggested motion in the DISC SKIP FIXER instructions). Then I wash the disc with warm running water and proceed with the DISC SKIP FIXER following the directions on the sqeeze bottle. I have fixed over 155 discs for myself and friends and NEVER had a failure. You only need the bottle, a paper towel and some running water. HONESTLY....no fancy machines, equipment or weird mechanicale gizmos are needed----- just the squeeze bottle of DISC SKIP FIXER a soft cloth -or paper towel_ and THAT'S ALL !!!! This solution is like a miracle in a bottle. I used to see this in retail outlets, but it is no longer sold there. I never write reviews, but this product is so incredible, and has saved me SO MUCH MONEY - that, well.....I HAD to write this. All I can say is ..."wow....awesome!"
