(More customer reviews)After wasting 20 bux on the poor quality Gamestop Pad I decided to look for a Licensed Dance Pad. The Konami Dance Pad only came in bundles so I couldn't get that one. So then I ordered this. Unlike other 3rd party dance mats this one doesnt move around a lot. however anything above 7 or 8 feet level you might experience some sliding. The Official ITG Soft Pad is an Official Sony Licensed product like the Konami soft pads you find in DDR Bundles. This pad feels thicker than the 3rd party gamestop pad. the foam between the two sensor sheets feels a lot denser than the ones on 3rd party mats. (foam is between the two sensor sheets, when you step on a button the two sensor sheets will come to contact triggering the button. the foam is used to keep the two sheets from touching when you dont step on the arrow button) the foam on the inside of my 3rd party mat ripped in about 2 weeks. so some of the buttons were acting as if held down. the foam in this pad will not rip unless your stupid and play with shoes on. im not saying this pad will last years. probably a year at the most, but its worth the 30-40 bux you're paying. i recommend this to ddr players who play on level 7 or less songs. if you play on heavy or oni mode i recommend buying a metal pad (not ignitions they stink!) or if you are not loaded with cash just buy this and mod it (instructions on [...]).
