This controller is simple to use. The only thing you have to do is press the Sync button (The button you push when connecting the controller to the Xbox for the first time), and the 3rd player LED will blink the number of what mode your in.MODE 1 - Dual trigger for Halo 3, Halo ODST, & COD6 MODE 2 - Call of Duty 5 World at War MODE 3 - Grand Theft Auto 4 & Liberty City, Call of Duty 4 & 6 MODE 4 - Gears of War 1 & 2 and BorderlandsMODE 5 - Call of Duty 4 & 6 Modern Warfare 1 & 2MODE 6 - Call of Duty 4 & 6 Modern Warfare 1 & 2, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Halo Reach MODE 7 - 5 Round Burst for COD 4, & 6 Even if a game isn't listed it is most likely still compatible.
