The TRON PS3 controller shipped to me has deformations in the plastic controller housing's external surfaces, like the housing was still too pliable after the the injection molding and cooldown process. In typical lighting, and without looking too closely, the lack of smooth surfacing is obvious... lots of undulation. In sum total, the controller looks cheap, even though it wasn't cheap.
The 3rd party market for console controllers has existed for a very long time, and I've never seen this sort of manufacturing sloppiness before even in budget-priced controllers that were meant to be cheaper than those sold by the 1st party/console manufacturer itself.
Obviously, your mileage may vary. Just be aware that your own end result may be hit or miss and quality is not guaranteed.
