(More customer reviews)"The Simpsons Xbox 360 Multi Faceplate" kit is a pretty neat idea and well worth the $15 (at the time of purchase / posting of review) for six custom already printed faceplates. This kit is an officially licensed "The Simpsons" product made by Solutions2go as part of an entire line of "The Simpsons" Video Game accessories that originally came out in 2007. Apparently, this amazon.com 3rd party seller is the only one who still has this in stock and selling it online.
The way the kit works is that you press in one of the vinyl faceplate skins into the clear shield and then snap in the back plate. Then, attach the entire faceplate to the front of your Xbox 360 after having removed the original faceplate.
The skins appear to be made of vinyl, the same kind of material typically used to make skins that you can use to cover/customize electronics. These aren't just some paper inserts, as the vinyl makes them look more professional and less likely to fade over time.This is what you get:
1. Clear shield and back plate.
2. 6 Skins featuring:
- Bart on a skateboard with flames on a black background.
- Bart on a skateboard with flames on a red background.
- Mr. Burns with a white background.
- Homer Simpson escaping from Mr Burns down the side of a building
- Willie the groundskeeper hulking out and ripping his shirt off.
- Millhouse falling into the ground playing soccer.This product is easy to use, easy to assemble, and definitely worth the money for any "The Simpsons" fans who have an Xbox 360. Recommended to all.
