Remington Super Slam Hunting: Africa Review

I picked up this game because it looked a little more exotic than your usual deer hunting games out there. I haven't finished it yet, but so far we've had a blast!
The game starts you out by hunting the usual African big game. Then the action really picks up. Rhinos, elephants, leopards, lions, hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles, and who knows what else start charging at you from all directions. I like that there's a huge variety of big game, predators, birds, and even small ground-critters to hunt.
I also like that you're on rails so you go through levels, rather than just looking at them from far away. There's so many different types of environments that always keep things interesting -- grassy plains, jungles, swamps, waterfalls, deserts, even volcanoes just to name a few.
The game also has a nice balance between performance(trying to rack up headshots, longshots, and chain multipliers) with just surviving when you're in the middle of a lion attack or a stampede. There's even online leaderboards for competition and a trophy room, where you can see your trophies and achievements, and customize your equipment.
We found the difficulty level perfect -- just when you think things are about to get too hard, you end up unlocking a better gun or ability. Things also got pretty wild once we had four people playing it, the screen turned into a shooting gallery.
Seriously, they really packed a ton of stuff into this game, so it's a great value for the price. Would rate it ten stars if I could!
